I will again assume you are asking how to connect to Newsgroups. I
will assume you have Netscape 'Email' already set up so your Email
address is correct/etc.

for Netscape 2 and above, you go to the menu on the top under 'options'
and then 'Mail and News preferences'.
Click on the tab for 'servers'.
At the bottom there is an entry for 'News (nntp) server'. Here you
want to type in 'news.flora.org'.
Now you can click 'ok'.

Now pull down the menu for 'Window' and choose 'Netscape News'.
A new window will pop up.
Under options select 'show all newsgroups'. Wait until Netscape stops
loading (It will be doing a count at the bottom of the screen). You
should now have a list of newsgroups available on Flora. Just click on
the one you want and go from there.

An obvious place to go is 'flora.help'. This is where your messages
sent to 'he...@flora.org' have been going, and is a logical place to ask
any further questions.

If for some reason flora.help doesn't show up on your list:

Under 'File' do 'Add newsgroup'.
A window will pop up: type in 'flora.help' (without the quotes).
To make sure the group comes up next time, click on the 'dot' beside
the numbers and a check-mark will appear.

Doing this 'check-mark' for the groups you want to participate in then
allows you to select 'options' then 'show active newsgroups' and Netscape
will show you a window that has only those groups that have new messages
in it to which you added the 'check-mark'.

Hope this helps.
