routes. Cycle City Guides include recognised cycling routes with colour coding for
roads to indicate how busy they are, traffic calmed roads and now contours with
colour gradations. Contours show the shape of the terrain over large areas without
obscuring underlying mapping and allow cyclists to choose their routes according
to how hilly the routes are."
