Caucasian female, 23, non-smoker
Both my legs ache almost every day, sometimes in the morning,
sometimes at night. The aches can sometimes be severe. The pain
is usually in both calves, but can rotate around front or down
to my feet. It usually feels better if I rub them or soak them,
but then it comes back right away. I sometimes even have
difficulty sleeping. Is this something I can be treated for or
do I just need to wear different shoes or use some type of
ointment?

Answer by Ulrich Kamphausen, M.D., Germany

Your symptoms sound like neuralgia. Do you have any problems
with your lumbar vertebral column ? It could be a good decision
to see a neurologist or orthopedic doctor !
