Hi everyone ---

We need to change two of our majordomo e-mail addresses, which are
attracting prodigious amounts of spam. The two offenders are

hbln-a...@flora.org and
hb...@flora.org

Whom should we contact to make this change?

We were also wondering whether we have the option of moving our e-mail
lists to MAILMAN. Is it available for our use, or is majordomo our only
option?

Thanks for your help,

You contact me in private email and send me the details.

Mailman is a resource hog relative to majordomo, and the hardware that
runs @flora.org is quite old. I don't really have funds in the short term
to upgrade.

There are a number of sites I have not heard from about the FLORA.org
2.0 stuff, possibly meaning they are working to move their sites
elsewhere. If this is the case there will then be resources to move lists
of organizations that are staying on FLORA.org to Mailman.

I changed my mind, and took a different path. I have set up Mailman
mailing lists on http://list.flora.org/mailman/listinfo . This is a
different server than http://www.flora.org is hosted on, and as can be
seen by the list of sites at http://list.flora.org/ is used to host
sponsored sites other than FLORA.org itself.

I have not done much testing of this Mailman installation, but if you
wish to be testers you can move your lists to this server. I would create
the new list, and then redirect your current @flora.org email address to
@list.flora.org once you are confident that all is working.
