[Action-forum] Re: Homelessness and the Safe Streets Act Task Force - Meeting Re. Draft Report

Dear Sean McKenny: RE COMPLAINT
I am here in complaining that:
1) this task force meeting was called for Jan 23 with only a few days notice
2) and it is being called for election day and Karen is working at the
elections
3)and it is calling for finalization of the recommendations (that city staff
drafted on their own steam without regard to the public input) before John
Hollingsworth's report on the panhandlers depositions is handed in.
And considering that:
1) no one on the task force other than Karen helped with this deposition
process
2)and no resources or time was offered by members or city staff to assist in
the process
3) and that the recommendations in the draft were not based on input from
the public I find the actions of the task force cutting out the deposition
report reprehensible.
