I use Zotero and would love to be able to add notes to articles I read and then save the the notated article so I can access it via Zotero later on. This seems like it should be possible but I'm not having any success. Zotero allows me to save a snapshot of a web page and according to the Zotero website they no longer support built in functionality to highlight an add sticky notes within the program but you can use a third party annotation software and then attach the document snapshot to Zotero.
When I tried this I added notes just fine and then I saved the notated webpage as an attachment to my citation. When I leave the site and go back later on by clicking the link to my snapshot (via Zotero) I get a yellow bar across the top of my screen that says "undefined" Don't show me again or ok. and I no longer see my notes in the web page. How can I access my notes later on. Is there some way to do it other than through the notes manager? I realize I can add tags etc to organize and find my notes again that way, but I'd prefer to only do that in one place if possible.
Thanks for you help;
Teressa
