I clicked 'hide notes' by accident and cannot change this anymore...

I clicked 'hide notes' by accident (instead of right click 'new note'). Now the button in the toolbar is gone (it is NOT just grey, it is gone) and there is no line in the menu to change this... (See screenshots)

How to turn the hide mode off and add a note (and show it)?

I use Win 10 Pro (64er) with Firefox 48.0.2.
