Welcome to motivation - Day Three

You have set the goals, you have a training partner. You have told
others your plan. Now you need the "roadmap" of directions.

This is where a Personal Trainer comes into their own with a tailored
program to maximise your workout to get your the results you desire.

Here's some stats to mull over.....
80% of gym members are not using the gym at all but are trapped in
under contract!
25% of gym members drop out within 3 months of signing up
52% of gym members drop out within 6 months
Only 35% of people who sign up stay for 9 months or more
The figure remains pretty stable from 9 - 18 months. It takes about 9
months for it to become a habit and a part of your lifestyle.

So why do so many people join a gym and not utilise their membership?
A lack of commitment and accountability to someone apart from
yourself! It's always easy to let yourself off the hook - we have all
done it. Face it - it's a reality.

Now - A Personal Trainer is not cheap. They're imparting their
knowledge of the human body, movement, exercise and have YOUR goals in
mind, AND want to get you there SAFELY. This is where your Personal
Trainer will assess your current fitness levels and design your "road
map" to your destination.

But I hear you say "The gym I go to gives me a list of exercises".

Yep that's it - it's just a list. There's no accountability, there's
no checking to make sure you're doing the exercises right after your
program review about every 6 to 8 weeks.

Your trainer will, set benchmarks, vary the program weekly, make sure
you're working correctly through good technique and posture and most
importantly get you to your destination.

Until next time
