I wrote this in the format of the educational thing.

Droughts

The problem:

-         Lake Lavon, the source of all water in Collin County is slowly loosing more water, and soon will be empty.

The Solutions:

-         One suggestion could be making the prices of houses go a little bit higher to decrease the population in the crowded Collin County. The less people in Collin County the less water is used

-         Sprinklers are a huge problem; a sprinkler uses 240 GALLONS of water per hour. That's 4 gallons per minute.  If every neighborhood in Collin County had 1 sprinkler running for an hour, we would be using over 10,000 gallons of water. To limit this, laws/ rules must be made to limit sprinklers to be on fro about 15 minutes.

-         Showers are another nightmare, using 2.5 gallons per minute. Many people take showers for 30 minutes, wasting 75 gallons of water. Multiply that number by the number of people taking 30 min. showers in Collin County. The outcome could be scary. A simple solution could be use a bathtub. To fill up a bathtub only takes 37 gallons of water, half of what a 30 min shower takes. A person could get the same delights of a shower using less water.
