Mel Gibson's newest film, Flight Risk, stars Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace. It made my list of the year's most anticipated films, and like Wolf Man, I appreciated it for what it was. The narrative is simple, the acting and action are competent, and there is nothing that overstays its welcome. While I had some nitpicks about some scenes that didn't seem quite as solid, the film as a whole was pleasant enough that I wasn't upset or dissatisfied.
