I recently viewed Keeper Flixtor. The plot centers around a couple who venture to an opulent cabin in the woods, which belongs to the boyfriend, for a weekend retreat. Initially, everything seems perfect—there's a cake gifted by the cleaner and a romantic dinner—but the mood changes when the boyfriend's cousin arrives unexpectedly.
This film is skillfully crafted, exuding a modern folklore essence. It is both unique and creative, merging elements of monster movies with hints of serial killer themes.

The narrative unfolds as a slow burn, enabling the audience to gradually assemble the mystery of what is genuinely occurring. There is an unsettling quality to everything, enhanced by astute camera angles, atmospheric music, and finely calibrated tension. The dinner scene featuring the cousin, the cake-eating moment, and the sequence questioning 'what's happening' are all remarkable highlights. Watching the film as it develops is truly enjoyable. The ending reminded me somewhat of Smile—perhaps more than I would have liked—but it did not diminish the overall pleasure derived from this cinematic treasure.
