Unfortunately upon installing Arma 3 Tools, I attempted to Mount the Project Drive and it mounted it onto my much smaller 250GB SSD on which the OS is installed and many other programs that I prioritize highly, so I wanted to assign it to the lower priority 1 TB HDD on which I have all of my Steam games including Arma 3 & Arma 3 tools, but it wouldn't install there. I would like to be instructed procedurally upon how to mount the project drive onto the correct drive (1 TB HDD).

Perhaps the fact that Steam is installed onto my SSD is causing the conflict. Steam.exe & Arma3.exe are both not administrator-only executables. Additionally, I receive the "0x50001002: Failed to mount the work drive" error when I attempt to run the mapdisk.bat file. I also haven't updated my version of Windows after the update that was released on the October of last year because I was unable after my first and only attempt to install it. My computer frequently crashes programs and freezes as well. Perhaps that may have something to do with the error specifically?

Well I created a new blank project in the spot I wanted to move the old one to, then manually copied the Content in Windows Explorer. After opening I had to fix a bunch of errors but now everything is working correctly and my project is in the right place. Man it would be nice if there were a supported way to do this.

So, actually moving the project is literally just a matter of moving the directory; if you have Documents\\Unreal Projects\MegacoolGameThing and want it to be on your D: drive, you literally just grab the MegacoolGameThing directory and drag it or cut/paste it wherever you want it to be, just like any other directory.

Thank you for the reply. Believe it or not I actually found that post of yours earlier today and tried your solution but Unreal still would not recognize the project in the the launchers despite editing the .ini. I definitely learned to pay attention when creating a new project.

Show a screen show of a file browser (dolphin, nautilus, etc.) in that folder, or open a terminal and navigate to that location and run the ls command to list the directory contents.

Using a terminal has the advantage that you can copy and paste the text, you do not have to deal with cumbersome screenshot tools which can only show a page of information at a time.

tl;dr If you need cross platform compatibility then exFAT is likely the best choice. The lack of case preservation may be what is causing you a problem with your FAT32 drive.

You can verify that by using a file browser or terminal to actually look in the /media/davidhelms/SILVER 1T/ARDOUR/HDD directory and see if there are wav files in the interchange directory.

I want to thank you and @ccaudle for all of your help. I really am grateful there is a forum with patient helpful people and I will do the production on my MAC for now till I get a chance to remove Ardour, get an extra drive and format either xfat or straight up Linux ext4 so I can avoid hopefully any future problems. I know just enough to break it and patient enough to fix it.

There are other ways to get there as well, for example using network filesystems to copy sessions between systems in the same building (not recommended over long distance network connections, the audio files are just too big).

since i downloaded the new macOS Ventura Unity Editor tells me that there might be problems with my project because the discspace would be below 1GB. My project however is located on a 1TB SSD with 800GB free space. I thought this might be a bug but Unity Editor is also working significantly slower than before. I have already tried restarting my Mac as well as reconnecting the SSD.

In the first phase of DRIVE, Schickler's data team built a data warehouse, which stores the anonymised usage data of the different publishers. Using an open source tracking tool integrated on the publishers' website, usage, content, and subscription data is being recorded and fed into the warehouse, which currently contains some eight billion data points.

Over the past seven weeks, Project Drive-In has elevated awareness of this historic part of American cinema and car culture. The effort has received more than 651million impressions in press coverage in addition to 62 million impressions on Twitter alone. There were more than 30,000 individual online mentions across blogs, forums, etc. The effort began with a poignant video, viewed more than 1.1 million times, designed to rally Americans to help drive-ins at risk of closing because of the costly switch to digital projection, estimated at $75,000+ per screen.

Visitors to the Project Drive-In website were encouraged to share information about the program with family and friends via social media, email or texts and pledge to see one movie at their local drive-in.

If it is only to be used to write projects at back ups and exits and to read them on loading, then surely a SSD with around 520 Mbps is good enough? Are there any futher benefits to be had in using an M.2 drive with speeds of + 3500 mbps? Does Cubase constantly write to the disk deposited project file?
