pixel temperature using Lepton 3.5 + PureThermal 2 + Lepton User App

I would like to record the raw temperature from lepton. 

I used the Lepton User App under the Raw mode with Tlinear enable for video recording. The object in the video is an electric kettle with boiled water in it. The output is a tiff file. When I import the tiff file into the Matlab, I noticed that some of the pixels have values of 0. Please see the attached Excel sheet. On the 'Advanced-Lepton-Usage-on-Windows.pdf', it says, 'Convert centikelvin to Celsius with TC = TcK / 100 - 273.15'. This means all those zeros will become -273.15 degrees, which is impossible. 

Can anyone suggest what I should do to get correct temperature for each pixel? 

Meanwhile, can I use matlab to achieve the same function as Lepton User App does? is the Y16 format similar to the raw format mentioned in User App?
