High gain vs low gain

Does the Group Gets LeptonModule code for raspberrypi_video use high gain or low gain? I couldn't tell by looking at the code. If it's not set, is it automatically high gain? Am I correct in assuming high gain has a more detailed picture?

Also, in that same code base I didn't seem any radiometric functionality for the Pi video. Am I missing it, or is there a fork with the functionality to read a pixel temp and display the value?
