DIY thermocam issue

I have built a DIY thermocam by sourcing my own parts.  I am using Groupgets Breakout board V2 with Flir Lepton 3.5.

The Lepton Module works fine with my Mini USB board on my laptop, but when I plug in the Module to the Breakout board and power up the Thermocam, I notice that the shutter on the Thermocam closes, and the boot up screen says the Lepton has failed.

Is there an incompatibility I am unaware of with the 3.5 module.  Has anyone else had a similar problem.  I've done a fair amount of research before asking this, but it is possible I have missed something obvious, it;s been known to happen.  Nonetheless, I am at a standstill without some advice.
