FLiR Lepton 2.5 Connected via USB

I am looking to get help to get sample python code to create a small window showing a thermal video.
Most of the links I see show use of SPI connections and not show how to use  USB connected  with libuvc in  Python.
Any help or links to show how this can be done would be very much appreciated 

I did see pylepton references but I confess I am new to this devices and not sure how to go about this . I  am sure somebody has already done this

Have a look here:


The example python/uvc-radiometry.py is probably what you're looking for and is the way to go for Linux or Mac.

If you're on Windows, FLIR's current SDK also supports the PureThermal boards, apparently in Python (I saw a great demo using it in a Jupyter notebook), but I haven't tried this myself.

I tried this :

sudo apt-get install python-opencv

then Ran the example:

./opencv-capture.py
But there was no python file found .. What am I missing
