Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for help with a PureThermal Mini Pro (JST‑SR) paired with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 module connected to a Pi5. The computer detects it, but no video output appears.
The unit is brand new!
I’m reaching out for help with a PureThermal Mini Pro (JST‑SR) paired with a FLIR Lepton 3.5 module connected to a Pi5. The computer detects it, but no video output appears.
Here’s what I have already checked:
- soldered the JST‑SR connector
- Verified that the Lepton 3.5 is fully and correctly seated in the socket
- Reinstalled and updated the firmware
- Tested using the recommended software tools (GetThermal and VLC)
Despite these steps, the device still produces no video signal, which suggests the Lepton core may not be communicating properly with the PureThermal board.
