Hi Gang:

I'm using a Lepton Module attached to a Raspberry Pi.  Had anyone tried to map the color output from the Lepton to the Ironbow color palette?  I'm told that the Ironbow palette more accurately matches the colors used in the more expensive IR cameras.

My C coding skills are rusty at best, but I cannot figure out how to take the 8-bit color number from the Lepton and map it into the Ironbow.

Any suggestions/tips/tricks?

Thanks,
Mike

Main problem was finding the spec:

http://extellect-utils.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/Extellect.Utilities/Drawing/Imaging/Ironbow.cs

I'm using a mathematical transform with full saturation for fblept, mainly for overlays (intensity in visible), but it would be easy to add looking up this table.

The tz1 branch in the github now has the ironbow palette.

By default module provide 14-bit image. Easy way to take 8-bit is find min and max value in the frame and fit its in histogram.
