In my research on the Lepton sensor I stumbled on this group, and I'm hoping to find some one with experience with these sensors and the programming of them to consult for us as we decide if this is a solution to our live object or hot foreign object detection challenges.

We are working on a novel in-motion wireless power transfer system for opportunity charging of heavy duty electric vehicles and investigating if we could use one to four Lepton units to monitor under a vehicle for small animals that may go below the unit while charging or to see if there are any small foreign metal objects that were dropped on the transmitter pads that could get very hot through induction heating.

For information on the WPT sytem, here are two 18 second youtube demo videos on our dynamic WPT topology.

If you have an interest in this, please let me know.

Hello Dave,

I thought I replied to this the other day but it doesn't appear to have posted.  Apologize if this is a repeat.

I've done a fair bit with the Lepton and designed several thermal imaging cameras around it.  I am an embedded systems consulting engineer.  I design and layout circuits, write firmware and supporting application level software and prototype for clients and for my own products.

My website: https://danjuliodesigns.com

Some of the cameras:

Please feel free to contact me if any of this seems interesting.

Regards, Dan
