I am pretty new to raspberry pi and lepton (much more comfortable with arduino) but have to use them for a research project.

I am trying to follow the spark fun/group gets tutorials with raspberry_video, and every time I run sudo ./raspberrypi_video I get a bunch of thin horizontal lines that appear to be alternating color and gray, and it freezes. The shutter still goes off every few minutes but I cant get it to unfreeze even by pressing the Perform FCC button. I have moved the pin 26 connection to pin 24, which was how I got rid of the red box problem. I'm at a loss. I'm using the pi 3 and Lepton 3.5. Any and all input greatly appreciated!

Hi Laura,

You probably used a LeptonModule repository.

You should use a Lepton-3-Module repository.

$ cd ~/Lepton-3-Module/software/raspberrypi_libs/leptonSDKEmb32PUB
$ make
$ cd ~/Lepton-3-Module/software/raspberrypi_video
$ qmake && make

Thanks for the help. I found this on GitHub to be helpful and the problem is solved! https://github.com/groupgets/LeptonModule/issues/54
