I have followed step by step in this tutorial, everything is describe, how to install and configure TeamSpeak3 server with MySQL - MariaDB on Debian/Ubuntu. -to-install-and-configure-teamspeak3-server-linux-debian-ubuntu/
I have to mention that I tried an older version of QEMU (the one in the repositories which is from the middle ages, version 1.2), and it could run both the newer and the old versions of TS (but they crash after some minutes which makes it no choice).
First of all... What version of Teamspeak are you using? Did you upgrade to 3.1 yet? If yes, the TFAR Plugins changed when compared to the old version. When you finished sync the repository, cancel the A3Sync TFAR Installer and just go to your arma directory \Arma 3\@TaskForceArrowhead\Teamspeak\... and doubleclick the TS Plugin. It will automaticly install into the correct folder. Start Teamspeak and you should be good to go.
TFAR is a Team Speak plugin and Arma 3 mod that improves communication by restricting it. You have local chat and specific radio channels, as well as left and right audio channels. TFAR is easily installed using the plugin in the mod files directly. Just need to install Team Speak and then look in the mod folder to grab the plugin and install that.

This has been driving me crazy. I've noticed that adding entire drive paths to the detection engine exclusions has helped. When I add exclusions, I don't get any frustrating messages that a file or folder is open by another application or similar when trying to replace or update files.
Take the old libjpeg package libjpeg-6b-6-i686.pkg.tar.gz either from your package cache or from the Rollback Machine, extract libjpeg.so.62.0.0 into the teamspeak directory, where TeamSpeak.bin and the other libs are. Then either rename it to libjpeg.so.62 or place a symlink, so it can be found.
Same problem on a 64 bit system, couldn't get it to work. Same problem as before. I tried installing "libjpeg6" and "bin32-teamspeak2" from AUR
Copied the "libjpeg.so.62" to the ts directory too, but that didn't help neither.
Any idea?
There are various ways to make a program run on startup, but in this case systemctl makes the most sense. First, log back in on your root user with su and then enter your password. Now create a text file in /lib/systemd/system/teamspeak.service by typing nano /lib/systemd/system/teamspeak.service and pasting the following into the document:
Now we need to make groups. AllianceAuth handles groups in teamspeak differently: instead of creating groups it creates an association between groups in TeamSpeak and groups in AllianceAuth. Go ahead and make the groups you want to associate with auth groups, keeping in mind multiple TeamSpeak groups can be associated with a single auth group.
This usually occurs because auth is trying to remove a user from the Guest group (group ID 8). The guest group is only assigned to a user when they have no other groups, unless you have changed the default teamspeak server config.

If you have SSH access to the server hosting it, you need to locate the teamspeak server folder and add the auth server IP on a new line in query_ip_allowlist.txt (named query_ip_whitelist.txt on older teamspeak versions).
I know that I had the same problem with older versions of Mumble. I remember some Mumble-dev stating that Mumble once was registered as "phone application", thus the PulseAudio or so mutes other applications while "phone applications" are running.
First, install the SinusBot on the new system according to our guides.Afterwards, copy over the data-folder, scripts-folder, config.ini and private.dat from your old SinusBot installation folder (typically /opt/sinusbot/ on Linux).
There are at least 2 things i'd like to be changed:
1. please install this proprietary/no-oss blob/software to where it belongs: /opt/teamspeak,5. It really should never exist in /usr/lib,64/whatsoever. See teamspeak3 PKGBUILD for inspirations.
2. the file $pkgname/hotkey_helper must be executable or no hotkeys (PTT) will be working inside teamspeak.
A lot more user friendly, free for people to use and above all very platform friendly. Both teamspeak and vent just simply became outdated is all, I know people very rarely use either still, yet discord is just newer, better and easier to use.
