I am now at a point where the feedback from wampserver i get is the following when (re)starting the apache module -> mem_cache_module, using the answers from a similar thread on stackoverflow.com/questions/3894065/php-memcache-dll-vc6-x64), in combination with php 5.3.13 64 bit:
This is a lot further than i got with the other options, most (or all) results i can come up with seem to redirect to either a 32 bit dll (which i cant use since my wampserver is 64 bit) or with the wrong php version or api version (compilation date?) .. i do not think i am able to compile my own library to solve this.
WampServer is available for free (under GPML license) in two distinct versions : 32 and 64 bits. Wampserver 2.5 is not compatible with Windows XP, neither with SP3, nor Windows Server 2003. Older WampServer versions are available on SourceForge.
Please take notice of the following PHP restrictions:
- Windows Operating Systems x86 only supports 32-bits timestamps. The valid range of a 32-bits timestamp is typically from Fri, 13 Dec 1901 20:45:54 UTC to Tue, 19 Jan 2038 03:14:07 UTC, using out of range values may cause issues. For more information about this problem, go here.
- Experimental x64 builds of PHP 5 in Windows x86 do not provide 64-bit integer or large file support.
- Prior to PHP 5.1.0, not all platforms support negative timestamps, therefore your date range may be limited to no earlier than the Unix epoch. This means that e.g. dates prior to Jan 1, 1970 will not work on Windows, some Linux distributions, and a few other operating systems.
Am tired of this,
unable to excute the file: c:\wamp\uninstall_services.bat create process failed; code 2. the system cannot find the file specified and once i press ok the second massage appear unable to excute the file: c:\wamp\install_services.bat create process failed; code 2. the system cannot find the file specified.
i normally get this error massage while installing wampserver 2.1 d

Thank you for installation process. I have installed wamp server 2.2d(32 bits)but my wamp server icon is red,(while it shows online mode and i had tried all my possible way i.e starting all services and then restart the system)but i am unable to open my localhost. I want to notice here that in my system there was perviously IIS server was installed but i have uninstalled it before installation of wamp. Pleae guide me what should i do so that i can use my wamp server.
After installing WordPress 5.6.1 and Wamp 3.2.3 64 bits I get a little bit confusing.
My question is, what should be directed after typing the localhost or server ip adddress (e.g. 192.168.#.#) at any web browser address bar?
Is it directed to Wamp dashboard or to WordPress dashboard?
If its directed to Wamp as occur to me, so how should other or what other/visitors should type at address bar to go to my website (build with wordpress)?
As I need to type to to wordpress website/my website. With adding wordpress or my web name/folder after localhost or server IP.
And if we have changed settings (but how, please guide me) for me how to enter Wamp dahboard?
Before installing wamp you need to make sure you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable, if you do not have it you can get the the version for 32 bits Windows from here, and for 64 bits from here.
I assume you mean microsoft server 2008 64 bits. For the deployment you have to install the proper version of odbc (64 or 32 bits) AND very likely install the microsoft visual studio runtime (32 or 64 bits). Be 100% sure to take the correct versions or it wont work.
Once wampserver is installed you will see a W icon, either on your desktop, start menu or taskbar (according to what you selected when installing.) Click it to bring up its options and then click PhpMyadmin as in Screenshot A below.
The file path shown in your black box ("Windows power shell") is where Git has made your personal repository. You can download Moodle into there if you wish, but you will then have to copy the Moodle folder into your wampserver directory. Instead, we will download Moodle straight into the www folder of our wampserver directory.
It could be your downloaded wampserver had a corrupted cURL extension (mine did). Go to mediafire.com and download the cURL extenstion there. Unzip it and then add it into (for example) wamp>bin>php>php 5.3.13>ext. (The exact path will depend on where you saved your wampserver.) Let it override the original and try again.
In the #Getting hold of Moodle section, make sure your path does not include "www". It might be for instance "C:\wamp". Moodle will then download directly into your wampserver directory. Rename your "www" folder to "wwwOLD" and then rename your newly arrived moodle folder to "www".
I'm new to wampserver. Their latest version has the latest php 5.2.6, apache, and mysql. Has anyone using this version yet and experienced any issues with it and installing latest version of Drupal 6.x? First install wampserver, then Drupal, correct? Also, I'm installing it on windows 2003..any issues with that platform?
I finally uninstalled wamp5 and tried the installing the latest drupal 6.16 with wampserver 2.0i using the solution mentioned at This time, the ereg() function error didnt occur, but there were problems on the database configuration page and later problems with clean url, which I resolved using suggestions from the following posts:

Upon visiting , you should see the index page of wampserver. Under the 'Your Projects' title, you should see the folders which exist in the www directory (c:\wamp\www\ by default). This is the folder where you must uncompress the Drupal installation file - drupal-6.16.tar.gz at the time of writing this. You will be left with a 'drupal-6.16' folder. Feel free to rename it, but *before* proceeding with the installation.
