Hi all,

FLINT 3.1.0 is now available!

As usual, the release files can be found on GitHub (https://github.com/flintlib/flint/releases/tag/v3.1.0) and on the website (https://flintlib.org/).

Major new features in 3.1 include the Riemann theta function (implemented by Jean Kieffer), new assembly code for doing integer multiplication faster than GMP (by Albin Ahlbäck), generic expression parsing, functions for exact polynomial division, and lots of optimizations. A longer writeup is available here: https://fredrikj.net/blog/2024/02/whats-new-in-flint-3-1/

Thanks to all contributors! For a complete changelog and credits, see: https://flintlib.org/doc/history.html

Let us know about any bugs so that we can issue a patch release if needed.

Best,
Fredrik
