flickr thumbnails (I need only one)

Hi there,

Greetings. I found the captbunzo's Flickr Album Plugin on the joomla
website. I'm very happy to see it working, but since I am new to
flickr and to your plugin I want to ask you a couple of questions:

1. What do i need to do in order to configure the plugin so that
everyone can see only one thumbnail posted in the article and not a
row of continuous thumbnails? I just needt to display one thumbnail
and then when click on the thumbnail one can see the next option on
the top.

2. Can I see my albums/photos from flickr albums if only my friends
are allowed to see them. In other words, will the pulgin load the
albums into my website if I set my flickr albums to see only by
friends?

Thanks for your question David! Answers as follows:

1. Set the rows and columns both to 1 and you should just get one thumbnail. You can do this either in the meta-tag for the album or in the settings for your site (which might be a good idea if you generally want just a single thumbnail).

2. And no, only publically viewable flickr photos are available for viewing via the plugin. This is due to the requirements set by the flickr APIs. I looked in detail several months back regarding sharing friends & family & private photos, but it doesn't look terribly feasible. At best it would be a significant piece of work.

Ah... I understand now what you want to do. Unfortunately, the same number of photos will popup as show in thumbnails.... Nothing I can really do there. That is an interesting feature request though.
