Greetings,

I'm so glad you have created this component.

We do a lot of work for tourism organizations. What we are doing is
creating Flickr groups to attract Flickr community members to ad
images to a Flickr group that are specific to a tourism area.

Your component is the only one out there that allows us to pull in
images from a Flickr group. However it's missing one important thing.
I really need to have the name of the flickr user for each photo when
viewing in the lightbox. Ideally the user name would link to their
photo flickr photo page. We want to make sure that photogs that add
their photos get credit or else they won't participate.

Also, it would be really great if we can get the thumbnail view page
to paginate so we can display all the photos from the group.

Let me know your thoughts on this.

Thanks
Jack

Hi Jack,

Both options should be something that could be coded. However, I am going to be rather limited in time for a couple weeks as I have some pressing personal matters (job interviewing at the moment!).... I really love some of these ideas.

Just to sum up, you are effectively requesting:

1. More flexiblity regarding lightbox text displayed, etc.
2. Pagination of thumbnail viewage... (I believe this has been requested before as well)

I would love to look into these features as my time is available in a couple weeks (and I may have some good time to work on a couple features such as these, though I will have to prioritise). However, if you are able and willing to support my effort financially a bit, that will help quite a bit as well.

I would be very happy to discuss the commission of certain features for a reasonable rate. Of course, any resulting effort would remain open source in the spirit of the significant benefit we all already receive from the great free software we use, such as Joomla.

If you are interested, contact me off list and we can discuss details further.

Thanks for trying my plugin! I hope to be able to accomodate, one way or another.

Cheers,
Paul Thompson
