honorNodeSize

I really appreciate all the work everyone has done here. The examples
and discussion posts have been very valuable.

I have gotten pretty far but can't seem to get honorNodeSize to work.
My goal is to have the nodes be spread evenly in the canvas space.
There more nodes, the closer they should get, until there is not
enough room to to display them on the canvas without over lapping,
then rather than overlapping, I would like them to spill out past the
edges of the canvas.

That seems to be a description of what honorNodeSize does. but I can't
seem to get it to do anything when I put the code in on my layouter.
It works in control when activated after the chart is built, but I
can't seem to make it happen as an initial state. Here are my files:

Any suggestions?

P.S. this file also contains code for adding a custom tooltip with
images, and clicking a node to go to a new URL if anyone is interested.

Well, I knew as soon as I wrote the question I would find the answer.
honorNodeSize does not work when autosize is enabled.
