Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to create links outside of the swf
that will tell flexpaper to browse to a specific page? Is this
functionality supported?

Thank you for your help.

Links will work OK if you actually include the **hyperlinks** into the
document which you then convert to (pdf and then to) swf.

I realizes now my answer was totally irrelevant to the issue raised.
Apologies.

Hey Adam,
I will try to expose some more methods for you in the next build of
FlexPaper which should be available within a couple of weeks.

Cheers,
Erik

That excellent news, Erik. Thank you.

I am currently using an old copy of flashpaper with the INITIAL_PAGE
parameter outlined here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/flashpaper/2/flashpaper_api/flashpaper_api8.html#118738

This parameter is added to the querystring. Correct me if I am wrong,
but don't querystrings cause the browser NOT to load the cached
version of the swf? We have a huge publication, and would like users
to be able to go directly to specific parts of the publication without
going page-by-page.If the swf had to be downloaded everytime the user
hit one of these links, it would be a horrible user experience for
them, and an expensive bandwidth bill for us.

Is it possible for this parameter to be set with flashvars?

Forgive me if I am a bit ignorant, flash is not my forte.

Thanks,
Adam

One more feature that would be incredibly useful is the ability to
pass in a search query parameter to the flexpaper search function.
