Hello Ismael,

I have the newest ALOE++ installed, and have some questions about the shell and documentation. Is it still possible to use the aloe shell with the new version? I'm trying to follow the instructions found at http://flexnets.upc.edu/trac/wiki/ALOEedu , but I'm not sure if it is up to date. When I try to run "sudo runph", I get
-----------------------------------------------------------
palo@vaazka2:~/aloe> sudo runph

Does the documentation in the "session" files still apply to the new ALOE++, cause the instructions at https://github.com/flexnets/aloe/wiki are quite sketchy.

Thank you,

Pavol

Hi pavol,

Unfortunately the documentation at ALOEedu are for older versions of aloe. They are lab sessions we used to assign to students.

The process of creating a new DSP block or waveform has been simplified considerably. Have you tried the instructions in this page?

I would happy to hear any comment on the documentation side as well. I mean, if you feel that something you would like to do is not sufficiently explained. Then I will try to document it as soon as possible.

Thank you,

BR

Ismael
