Hi All,

I'm trying to run the OSLD waveform on a CORNET Node on the VT CORNET Testbed. When I try to run the osld_tx_usrp.app file, I get the following errors:

sidddhan@ubuntu:~/flexnets-aloe-c1dd2ac/app_dl$ sudo ../build/rtdal_lnx/runcf ./osld_tx_usrp.app ./config
linux; GNU C++ version 4.7.3; Boost_104900; UHD_003.005.004-140-unstable

I believe this is probably because the file is not able to see the USRP device? I tried to see if the device was visible, but doing a "sudo ls -ltr /dev" is not showing a uhd or usrp device. I reinstalled the uhd driver for usrp2.0 as per the instructions on the Ettus website too.

Could anyone help with this error? How do I verify the UHD driver/device is installed?

Regards,

Siddhartha

Hi,

You can check that your usrp is working propertly using uhd/gnuradio tools, e.g. uhd_find_devices or uhd_fft.

If you are unable to see the usrp with these tools, check the uhd maillist.

Regards,
Ismael

find_uhd_devices
Which Cornet node are you on? We're updating the first two floors, it's better to use nodes from the third and forth. Hope this helps.
