I am attempting to uninstall Office 2010 Pro from a windows 7 PC. I am getting an "OSETUP.DLL cannot be loaded" message. So I attempt to run CCleaner and I get the same message. I attempt to put in a Office 2010 install disk and I cannot even run the setup wizard because I get the same message. The reason for me uninstalling Office 2010 is because word and share point suddenly stopped working. I do not know which tool I should use to uninstall or fix this issue. I plan on keeping office 2010 on this machine so if there is a fix for this issue that would be best, but I am willing to uninstall and reinstall.
Checking at -US/b8e4cda5-2806-484f-80cf-f8e0f2a98f2f/command-to-uninstall-office-2016-and-contentlocation-of-uninstallxml-file?forum=configmanagerapps , it looks like you have to create an XML answer file for the Office uninstall, and then feed that on the command line.
I was under the impression that if you could get it to run on the local machines command line that you could get it to work through Bigfix. Do you mean use this uninstall string but instead of calling the osetup.dll create that config file and call it instead?
