i am trying to upload a file say portFolio.csv and getting such
message.

IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false
eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038:

any idea why this happens.

Are you using a crossdomain file ?

Is there something in Tomcat configuration causing this.

i'm also facing this issue but only at the time when i'm trying to upload a 0 byte file.

Is there's any way that using FileReference we can upload 0 byte file
of any type.

hi All,

Sorry I missed to close this thread. I got the issue what was
happening at my end,

I am uploading file to a servlet and the work directory (in which the
apache user have write permission) was not created that is why
whenever i tried to upload it was not able to create temp file in the
working directory resulting IOError,

I created the directory and now its working perfectly.

I think you should use the crossdomain.xml file

try google search for moock crossdomain.xml
