chat application

This is manish, i m trying to build a chat aplication using
adobe flex and server is build with java...
how can i do efficiently... plz suggest me some idea, technique...

You have to use Red5 streaming server of flash..

It can be done using LCDs . We use LCDs / BlazeDs for interacting
with java .You can use LCDs effectively to develop chat
application..If you want I can send u sample code...LCDs has messaging
support for accomplish that.

this is veeru worked as flex trainee in tanuku(inida,andhrapradesh). i
have good knowledge in caringrom and web service apllications we done
here. i want to learn LCDS/BLAZE DS. plz will you help me to learn
this things. i need how to configure flex with lcds/blazeDS with
example try to some source code
