Do I use Array or Array collection?

please can u suggest when we will use Array  and Array Collection in Flex .
because  Array Collection have performance issue

Generally Array Collection is used when you want to take the benefits
of binding. If you are not worried about the binding you can and
should use array. BTW what are the performance issues you are seeing
with using AC ?

The fact that it supports Binding might contribute to performance issues.

I have replaced most of my ACs with Arrays instead and it really has helped my Flex Application, and I think it definitely did help.
