Blank line after last example sentence?

I am getting a blank line after the final example sentence that is the last item in an entry. 

So for example, if there are synonyms after the example sentences, there is no blank line:

But if the example sentences are the last thing in an entry, there is a blank line:

This does not happen when I don't display each example sentence in a new paragraph:

In the dictionary configuration there is nothing to add a blank line after the whole example section:

And there is nothing in the "After" settings when I drill down on the Translation bits.

I know it is a whole blank line because when I export as a docx file, there is a blank paragraph.

I saw this post but it's not the same issue. I don't have any  \0A in any of the fields related to example sentences. I also don't have any custom css.

One obscure thing to check:

 - If you untick the box for "Display in paragraph", and then you look at the "After" field for Sense, is there a space in it?

At one time, having a space there affected how things looked with "Display in Paragraph".  Getting rid of the space removed the blank line.

I can't remember if that has been adjusted since then or not, but it is worth looking at.  And yes, it doesn't make sense.  (You might need to look in the After box for some other fields as well--whatever is coming at the end of the paragraph.)

Oh, how odd. I didn't even have to untick the display as paragraph box. I simply went to the After field for Sense and there was indeed a space. I removed it and problem solved.

So I guess this is still an issue? Do I need to create a bug report? 

I would have never in a million years thought that a single space after the sense field would have done something like that.

The explanation for it is that it is trying to format that space, and it makes a separate paragraph for that space.

I don't think you need to make a new issue, I'll try to add a note to the existing issue.
