When interlinearizing, do any of you regularly use the Gloss tab and
check "Add Words to Lexicon"? This seems like the best way to go for
many languages, but I've not had much luck with it in the past.
(Neither
had the FLEx trainer in a recent workshop.) The last time I tested it
thoroughly was FW7 beta2, and it behaved strangely, generating junk
entries (or junk glosses?) that would be very hard to track down and
fix
later.
But testing it out in 7.2 just now, it looked much improved. I'm not
noticing any junk, and there's a nice feature where when you check the
box, the "Word Gloss" line is relabeled "Lex./Word Gloss" and is
locked
into both functions. (Ditto for the "Word Cat." line.) Looks pretty
good
thus far. I wonder if this has been working well since 7.1.
