Advance Warning: FLEx version restriction when uploading to Webonary

Apologies if you receive this email more than once but we want this information to reach as wide an audience as possible.

As of May 1, 2026, you will no longer be able to upload to Webonary using FLEx version 9.2.4 or earlier. This is to ensure that images on Webonary contain copyright information. Please update your FLEx version to the current version (https://software.sil.org/fieldworks/download/). If you have difficulty upgrading your FLEx version, please contact DLS at webo...@sil.org.

We appreciate that this will affect some users of Webonary who are unable to update FLEx. Please get in touch with us about how we can support you.
