line breaks lost when copying sort order from Toolbox

When I copy the sort order from Toolbox (for this example, from its default "vernacular" language definition):

A a æ ɑ ɐ
B b β ɓ ʙ
C c ɕ ç
D d ɖ ð ɗ
E e ɛ ə ɜ œ ɶ ɘ ɞ
F f ɸ
...

and paste it into FLEx 7.2.4, into the Writing Systems Properties dialog, Sorting tab, with Sort Method set to "Custom Simple (Toolbox style) rules", the line breaks are lost:


Is this the intended behavior? It seems that preserving the line breaks would be advantageous.
