One former CARLA user started using FLEx and needed to create a large number of root/stem allomorphs based on the citation form, the lexeme form, the etymology form, or an entry-level custom field of an entry.  We now have a FLEx utility tool to do that called Allomorph Generator.  It is an add-on that, when installed, shows under the Tools menu / Utilities dialog.

Using it, you create a file that contains a set of allomorph generating operations.  Each operation defines a match to the entry form and you also create a set of replace operations that will be applied to each entry that matches.  There is another tab that shows you a preview of what allomorphs will be added for a given operation.  You can then apply one or more operations to create the new allomorphs.

It is compatible with version 9.1.18 or higher of FLEx.

You can see more of what it is like by reading the user documentation at https://github.com/sillsdev/FLExAllomorphGenerator/blob/master/AllomorphGeneratorDll/doc/AlloGenUserDocumentation.pdf.

The installer is at https://github.com/sillsdev/FLExAllomorphGenerator/blob/master/Installer/Output/AllomorphGeneratorDllSetup.exe.

Any questions or bug reports should be sent to blackh...@gmail.com.
