Question about Adding Proverbs and Daily Word Feature in Fieldworks Language Explorer

Dear FLex Team,

Greetings.

I would like to ask a question regarding the use of Fieldworks Language Explorer (FLEx). I have been using the software primarily for adding and organizing lexicons for my language work, and it has been very helpful.

I wanted to know if there is any way within FLEx to include additional learning content such as proverbs or a “Word of the Day” feature that could present a new word daily for learners. My interest is to make the dictionary not only a reference tool but also something that supports daily language learning and cultural knowledge.

If this feature already exists, I would be grateful if you could guide me on how to implement it. If it is not currently available, I would also appreciate any suggestions on possible ways to integrate such content within the system.

I don't believe this is currently possible, but it sounds like something that could be a feature request for the Dictionary App Builder (DAB) software.

DAB can create an app from an export from Fieldworks.
