I am trying to change the way verbs with complements are now included in the dictionary. The preceding compliment is written as a separate word, but belongs to the verb. Verbs that have a preceding complement, like ra kɔɔ should be found by users under k.
At the moment these verbs appear in the headword as verb (preceding complement).
Examples :
For example, under the letter at the entry zive (un) : verb (preceding complement), the user finds all the information about the verb, including example sentences.

Some users however, my be inclined to lookup this verb with the complement in mind, under the letter u, i.e. un zive. At the moment the dictionary is set up to have a minor entry un zive with minimal information which refers to the major entry zive (un).

To have zive (un) as the headword is not ideal and was (in the past) needed for the entry to be sorted with the z words. Would there be a way to have un zive as headword, but to have it sorted with the letter z?

If such is possible, and the changes are applied, the reference from the minor entry, which used to be:
1.) un zive  v.cmpl. see -› zive (un)
would become:
2.) un zive  v.cmpl. see -› un zive
which may lead to confusion, as the user is already at un zive, thus not leading the user to go looking under the letter z for the major entry.  So, to avoid confusion, it would be best to keep  see -› zive (un) in the reference. Is there a way to achieve this while the major entry un zive is sorted with the letter z ?

Thanks in advance for any experiences or advice you can share.

Bart.
