Hello all,

Almost all the homographs in my database are appearing in reverse order in the Dictionary view; that is to say, for example,
kavùlà 2 case                    appears before
kavùlà 1  chenille

The entries each have the correct homograph number (i.e. in this example I want the one meaning chenille to be 1) but I obviously want them to appear in numerical order. Is there a setting somewhere?

Thanks,
Pauline

Hi Pauline,

On which field did you sort? If you sort on the Headword (which shows the homograph numbers) then it should sort correctly. Did you sort by Lexeme or Citation form?

Hi Pauline

Did Robert’s suggestion fix your problem? If not, the other way I have solved it is to add the homograph number as a column and do a secondary sort on homograph number column. BTW if any of the numbers are wrong or missing there is a utility to reassign homographs (Tools-Utilities-Reassign homographs)
