Release of FLExTrans 3.14

I’m happy to announce that FLExTrans 3.14 is now available at https://software.sil.org/flextrans/download

 

This release has several important improvements:

• Spanish & German added as user interface languages
• From the installer to FLExTools to the rules file these languages are supported
• It’s possible to add additional UI languages
• The Sense Linker
• In Show Unlinked mode, rows disappear as you link them
• Font information saved
• The Live Rule Tester
• It has a new look and a simpler interface in normal mode
• Switch to the new advanced mode to see all the possibilities
• Execution log shows which rules were applied instead of which patterns were matched
• FLExTrans 3.14 includes FLExTools 2.3.2. This has several improvements:
• Ability to open the source FieldWorks project from the menu
• Prevents running a second module if another is already running
• The selected collections tab is a darker color now
• A menu option to switch the interface language
• A menu option to open the transfer rules file
• Installer
• Better support for installing as a non-admin user
• Choose your interface language during install
• There’s a Clusters collection in FLExTools that can be activated containing cluster project-related modules
• Bug fixes
