Dear all,
FLExTools (
https://github.com/cdfarrow/flextools/wiki) v2.3.2 has
been released. You can find a link to the installation zip file here
(
https://github.com/cdfarrow/flextools/releases/).
If you already have FLExTools installed, then you can just run
InstallOrUpdate.vbs to incorporate the latest changes. In this case,
the version number on the main window won't change, but in the Help
| About dialog it will show "2025.6.26" underneath the "FLExTools"
heading.
Note: FLExTrans users will need to wait for a new release of
that.
The highlights of this release are:
- Now supports Python 3.13
- Added a menu item to open the current project in FieldWorks.
- Correctly lists only valid projects in the Open Project dialog.
- Doesn't lose project and collection configuration after a crash.
FlexTools is an application for running Python scripts on a
Fieldworks project to do processing that isn't possible within
Fieldworks, or to semi-automate certain functions.
