Sorry for the delay!!
We are happy to announce that the release version of FieldWorks 9.2 is now available.
Some highlights of what is available in FieldWorks 9.2.9 (stable) that is new since the previous stable version (FW 9.1.25):
· Export dictionaries to Microsoft Word (without going through Pathway)
· Ability to reorder the fields in the UI in Lexicon Edit view.
· A new field “Exemplar” has been added to the Sense level of Lexicon Edit.
In the area of the automatic parsers, some major new features include:
· Ability to reorder affix templates.
· Novel Root Guesser: Provides guesses about which part of an inflected word is the root, if all the affixes can be parsed.
· Parse Prioritizer: The choice of which word analysis to show as the “most likely guess” now takes into account context and other clues.
· Parser Test Reports: Provide extensive detail about parse successes/failures and speed, for easy comparison as the parsing setup is developed.
More detailed information is available in the <a href="http://software.sil.org/fieldworks/release-notes/">Stable Release notes.</a>

Hi Ann,
Thanks for the updates!
While we're discussing the links on the
website: maybe the menu item Downloads > Current Version
should point to the same page as "Latest Stable Release" at
https://software.sil.org/fieldworks/download/?
Right now it points to 9.1.25 (and seems to be the only link to
it).
However, a page with links to older versions as such would also
be helpful if the user wants/needs an older one.
Best,
Sasha
It should point to 9.2.9. Ken was having a problem with this yesterday. Maybe due to caching? Is this what you see?

I mean this item in the upper menu.
Best,
Sasha

The patch is the same whether online or offline. If using the onlineversion, the way intended to get the patch is by using auto updates. If youwant to download it, you can get it from under the offline section.I created the news item for 9.2.10 yesterday, but forgot to publish it. Ihave done so now, Sorry about that!Ann-----Original Message-----

Confirmed, it's working now. But why does this linkhttps://software.sil.org/fieldworks/download/fw-92/fw-929/offer the 9.2.9 version for the patch, but the 9.2.10 version for theoffline installer? Is there something wrong with upgrading to 9.2.10?And 9.2.10 isn't even mentioned in the "Recent news posts" here:https://software.sil.org/fieldworks/although it is mentioned in the release notes link you gave me:https://software.sil.org/fieldworks/release-notes/Mike MaxwellOn 7/10/2025 6:16 PM, 'Ann Bush' via FLEx list wrote:

This patch release came out Tuesday, but the list of changes has been updated in the Alpha release notes. There are a lot of parser changes as well as some other updates and improvements. You can look at the list in
the <a href="http://software.sil.org/fieldworks/alpha-release-notes/">Alpha Release notes.</a>
