Hello,

Is it possible in FLEx to use the Hunspell .aff file to define affixes for morpheme-based spell checking?

The language project I support is quite morphologically rich. Each stem has potentially hundreds of thousands of correctly spelled forms. I know that hunspell is designed to be able to do this kind of parsing of affixes, but I haven't been able to get it to work in FLEx.

Has this been disabled in FLEx? Is the only way to do spell-checking in FLEx to have a wordlist of approved words? Does FLEx have a different way of doing morpheme-based spell checking that doesn't use Hunspell?

Thank you,
Christopher

I use the automatic parsers (on the Parsing menu) to do this sort of thing. I don’t know anything about using Hunspell (in FLEx or elsewhere).
