Hi Fletcher North Korea-watchers,

There are two great events this week, one with our former Dean Stephen Bosworth, and the other with the President of Liberty in North Korea. We hope that you can make it!

Tuesday, November 5th (5-8PM): Presentation by President/CEO of Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), Hannah Song
 - Tufts University, Cohen Auditorium, 40 Talbot Ave.

The College Freedom Forum (CFF) is a series of one-day events designed to educate and enlighten students about individual rights and democracy around the world. Each CFF features five engaging presentations and an opportunity for students and audience members to interact with the speakers one-on-one and during a question and answer session.

Speakers include Iranian author and former prisoner of conscience Marina Nemat; Moroccan journalist and media entrepreneur Ahmed Benchemsi; Equatoguinean human rights lawyer Tutu Alicante; president and CEO of Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) Hannah Song; and Egyptian journalist Abeer Allam. Talks will be followed by a moderated question and answer session with the audience.

Wednesday, November 6th (2-3PM: The Leadership Challenges of Kim Jong Eun"
  - Harvard Kennedy School, Taubman 275 (Kalb Seminar Room)

NKSG will host a seminar with Ambassador Stephen Bosworth on the future of North Korean leadership. We will be discussing Kim Jong Eun's need to consolidate power, the communist-dynastic succession in NK, and any potential for reforms under the newest Kim

Ambassador Stephen Bosworth is a senior fellow at the Belfer Center. He was the former US ambassador to South Korea (1997-2001), the Philippines (1984-87) and Tunisia (1979-81). He also served as the US Special Representative for North Korea policy (2009-2011) and is Dean of Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Best,

Your Dear Leaders,

(Dan, Christina, Kwan, and Sebastian)
