What is the nature of China’s relationship with North Korea? What are the United States’ primary concerns regarding North Korea? Do China and the United States share any common ground when dealing with North Korea? Is it possible for China and the United States to cooperate in their dealings with North Korea, or are China and the United States fundamentally at odds with one another on North Korean matters? In light of recent political transitions and provocations coming out of North Korea, this panel will address possible opportunities or challenges for China and the United States in dealing with North Korea.
