Winter Series

The concensus seems to be that we should hold off running the Winter
Series. This is understandable given the recent weather. Also, the
February events would be held on the boating lake - which means
dragging the club boat round putting the buoys in and retrieving them
after racing.
Actually this 'natural' conclusion is pretty much where my thoughts
were going anyway - i.e. have a 2 month closed season in Jan/Feb each
year. These are the worst months of the year for weather so they are a
chance to stay close to the fire and for us to each plan our campaigns
for the RC Laser battles starting in March.
This year most of you will know I'm on an enfoced
'break' (carelessness on my part in the recent icy conditions). So
whether racing goes ahead or not is a bit academic for me. Hopefully,
I'll see you all in March or April.

revised times are 10:00 to 14:30. There will be medals to 3rd place.
