I wonder do we have a system In place , If on a race day,
you let some body have a try at sailing, with your boat.
It would of course encourage someone to join us, as
well as the club!!
could I suggest that If you let a member of the public,
use your boat then you get average points for that race,
I have not thought of this myself, I have seen Andy Kissick
Recently, and he suggested It.
I thought It was a good Idea!

Once or twice we have done this. I agree it is a good idea to get more
people interested in the sport and should be encouraged. In the past
we have either allowed average points for that day or the actual
result if better (you never know you might get a 'star' borrowing your
boat!)
