Hey all, we have a new Lightning owner at the marina.  Nick Kahl.  He is new owner of "String Theory".   Indicates he might be interested in some crewing, working towards may racing his boat as he grows into it.

Thank you, I'm excited to be back on a sailboat after a long absence.  I do plan to keep the boat at Washington Sailing Marina.

Based on a brief outing last weekend, its clear ill need to gain significant experience in order to race safely. Just day sailing for now, perhaps crewing occasionally.

Haven't cemented weekend plans yet but may get out to the marina on Sunday.

Writing to introduce the two of you. Nick is the new owner of String Theory and I mentioned to him that Bob has three lightnings (last count) and I consider to be the local expert. With the sailing season upon us, there may be plenty of opportunities to crew or get pro tips. I’ll leave it to you to take it from here.
